There's more to love about working canines than just their furry good looks! These dogs, and others like them, are a vital part of the law enforcement community.

Join the Upper Sandusky Community Library at 6:00 p.m. on February 16 in the large meeting room to welcome Wyandot County Sheriff's Office's Deputy Flick and K9s Ace and Bristol. Learn how these dogs are used in patrol work, tracking, narcotic detection, and more!

Craft Party: Paint Party

Craft Party is mixing things up in April and turning into a Paint Party. Local artist Lisa Andres will be teaching a painting class where attendees will create their own work of art on canvas. There’s no cost so grab a friend and make it an arty-party!

Craft Party will be held in the large meeting room at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Taste of the Town is an adult cooking program hosted by Patti Davidson of the Upper Sandusky Community Library. In March learn from Don Tomasso’s Tom Smith as he demonstrates how to make one of his favorite dishes.

Kids Can Cook: Green Dishes

Get in on the program all kids love to do. Kids Can Cook, run by Youth Services Coordinator Jill Stansbery, is a program that teaches children basic cooking skills.

For March, kids will learn how to make a variety of green dishes – just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! Kids Can Cook is intended for students in grades K-5. The hour-long program will be offered at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17. Space is limited and registration is required. Sign up for the program begins Monday, March 7.
