Adventure Begins at Your Library - 2024 Summer Reading Program

Discover all the adventures happening at USCL during our 2024 summer reading program!

Adventure Begins at Your Library runs from June 1 through July 31. Participants can sign up now at the library. Pick up a summer reading packet for your age group at the front desk and get to reading! When you complete your packet, bring it back to the library for an entry into one of the prize drawings.

Lunch Bunch: Brunch

Got lunch plans? Come to Lunch Bunch on Monday, Nov. 25 at 12:00 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room.

November’s theme is brunch dishes. Make sure to bring a copy of the recipe to share with the group and then get ready to discuss cooking, baking, recipes, and more.

For more information about this or any other Upper Sandusky Community Library program, stop by the front desk or call the library at 419-294-1345.

The book sale kicks off with a special Friends of the Library members-only sale from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The book sale will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. The sale will take place in the large meeting room downstairs.

Clothing Swap

The Clothing Swap returns to the Upper Sandusky Community Library this month. Before the swap gets underway, however, the library will be accepting clean, gently used donations Nov. 18-20.

Here’s how it works: go through your closet and find items that no longer spark joy or things that you don’t wear anymore. Bring donations of men’s, women’s, or children’s clothing, belts, hats, purses, jewelry, and shoes to the library.

About Us

Welcome to the Upper Sandusky Community Library website. We have been serving Upper Sandusky and the surrounding area for over 100 years, beginning in 1912 when the USANDO Literary Club donated $25 to a fledgling library fund. As our town has grown and changed over the years, so has USCL.
