Join fellow readers in the return of BookTalk

After a lengthy hiatus, everyone’s favorite sharing time for readers is back! BookTalk will make its triumphant return at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5.

If you have been itching to talk about the books you read, then join group discussion leader Krystal Smalley for a casual talk about books. No matter the subject or genre, all readers are welcome to talk about anything book related.

BookTalk meets on the first Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. The 2021 schedule is as follows: August 5, September 2, October 7, November 4, and December 2.

Coded StoryWalk® - Birdie's First Day of School

Get your family outside to stretch their legs, read a book, and solve a puzzle with StoryWalk®: Coded Tales.

The book for August is Birdie’s First Day of School by Sujean Rim. “Tomorrow is Birdie's first day of school and she is just SO nervous. What will her teacher be like? What should she bring? What should she WEAR? When Birdie walks into her brand-new classroom . . . oh my! A whole new world opens up as she discovers all the fun and adventure that school has to offer.”

Book Sale donations being accepted July 12-31

The event that readers and book collectors have been waiting for is returning this summer!

The Upper Sandusky Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale will take place in August. Before the event, however, the Friends will be accepting book donations for three weeks, July 12-31. Bring your gently used books to the library during our hours of operation and place them on the cart by the elevator. Please do not leave donations in the outdoor drop box.
