Think you have what it takes to conquer the Superhero Showdown Quizbowl? Then join Upper Sandusky Community Library staff as they present a trivia game for teens and adults featuring superhero and pop culture questions.
The Upper Sandusky Community Library will close early on Thursday, August 19 for a staff in-service workshop.
The business hours for August 19 will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The library will return to its regular business hours on Friday, August 20.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will be extending its evening hours after Labor Day. The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday beginning Tuesday, September 7.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library has a ton of resources, but do you know how it can help you educate your children?
Join library staff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30 for the Homeschool & Teacher Open House. Designed with teachers and homeschool parents in mind, this program will highlight the resources available at the library that you can use in your teachings. Spanning from Adventure Central items to the Quest Collection to online databases and more, staff will show you items to use that will help your children in their educational journey.
If you’re in the Halloween mood and ready to send shivers down your spine, then sign up for Upper Sandusky Community Library’s Trail of Terror: Chilling Tales from History and Urban Legend.
Tour host Ashlie Payton will captivate you with her spine-tingling, hair-raising, and eerie stories from the past. The walking ghost tour, which takes place on Saturday, October 16, will wind through the wooded trails at Harrison-Smith Park with tales told by local storytellers.
Ka-chow! Drive on in to the library for the return of S.T.E.A.M.Punks!
Kids, teens, and adults can make their own cardboard car at home and visit the library for the Drive-In Movie and Car Show on Monday, October 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the large meeting room. Need some extra supplies for your cardboard car? Check out the supplies Youth Services Specialist Lisa Andres has collected and take home what you need to deck out your car. Trophies and cash awards will be given to winners by age group categories. All participants will also receive a snack pack supplied by Boo Bear Auto.
The time to pick up Grab-N-Go Meals have been extended!
The meals, which are provided at the Upper Sandusky Community Library for youth up to age 18, will be available from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The meals will not be available on December 24 or 31 as the library will be closed to observe Christmas and New Year’s.
