It's said that a picture is worth a thousand words . . . but what if it was a motion picture and there were 84,250 words? We'll let you decide when you take part in our program, Which Is Better: Ove or Otto.
Swedish author Fredrik Backman’s beloved first novel, A Man Called Ove, tells the tale of the angry old man next door while thoughtfully exploring the profound impact one life has on countless others. The novel was published in English in 2013 and stayed on the New York Times Best Seller list for 42 weeks. This story was taken to the silver screen for American audiences in 2022 and starred guy-next-door star Tom Hanks.
