In order to better serve the community during these trying times, the Upper Sandusky Community Library is making its laptops available to patrons for checkout.
The library recognizes that many students may not have access to a computer at home to complete schoolwork. In order to help lift that burden, the library has converted its mobile laptop center into laptops that can be checked out for at-home use. Six laptops are available for patrons to check out for a 7-day loan and can be borrowed alongside a Wi-Fi Hot Spot if one is available. The laptops come with a power cord and carrying case. They do not include any special software such as Microsoft Office.
The laptops are available at the front desk. Students who wish to borrow a laptop must have a parent’s or a guardian’s permission to check the item out. The laptops can only be renewed in-person at the library.
For more information about the lending laptops, stop by the front desk or call the library at 419-294-1345.
