Get ready to create with Miss Lisa as she takes you through Art Lessons with Lisa. In this video, you'll need a pencil or pen, a 5"x7" piece of cardboard, hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, 7"x9" piece of aluminum foil, and various colors of permanent markers. The video will debut on the Upper Sandusky Community Library Facebook page and YouTube channel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020.

Looking for somewhere fancy to put your rings when you’re not wearing them? Miss Rachel has the answer with this month’s Crafternoon project: a Glam Clam Ring Rest.

The craft will be available beginning Aug. 20 at the Upper Sandusky Community Library’s front desk. The craft will include all the materials you will need as well as instructions. And if you work better with visual instructions, Miss Rachel will be demonstrating the craft with a video that will debut on the Upper Sandusky Community Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel later that day.

Drop off cookbooks

The annual What’s Cookin’ Cookbook Swap is returning with a slightly different look. Patrons can drop off gently used cookbooks during library hours at the Upper Sandusky Community Library from August 24-28. These books will then be quarantined until the day of the swap.
