WEE READ SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The Wee Read Summer Reading Program, intended for newborns to age 3, enables even the youngest child to share in the joy of reading. Pick up an activity sheet at the library or download one here. Caregivers may cross out one symbol for each book read to the child. Adults can bring in the completed activity to the library through July 31 to receive a free board book.
BINGO
You will have plenty of opportunities to play Bingo this summer as well, no matter your age. Snag a Bingo card for your age group and get to reading and completing activities. The Adult, Teen, and Elementary Bingo cards can be picked up at the library or downloaded from this page. Each Bingo equals one entry to win a prize of your choice. Children in elementary school will receive a one paperback book when they bring in their first completed Bingo card. Continue playing Bingo throughout the summer to earn more entries. Winners will be notified at the beginning of August.
Special thanks to the Friends of the Library, whose donation helped to purchase the gift cards and picnic basket, and to Fay Family Dental Care for the donated prize, all of which patrons can enter to win as part of the Summer Reading Program.
